Sporting Success

We have already enjoyed great sporting success this term!  A number of children have been able to participate in tournaments which have taken place at our school and other local schools.  Well done to everyone who has taken part!

Online learning platforms

The children have been given the opportunity to use a variety of websites to help them with their learning.

Please have a look on our 'Useful links' page for further details.  Your child has been given log ons for each of the website.  We'd really appreicate your feedback once they have had chance to have a go.  If you are unable to access the Internet at home, please come and see one of us and we'll try to support you.  Thank you

Macmillan coffee morning

A big thank you to all of the families who supported the Macmillan coffee morning.  The children (and Mrs Gracey) really enjoyed making a variety of cakes, buns and biscuits.  All of them sold out really quickly and helped us to raise over £100 for the Macmillan appeal.   Watch this space for future events!

School Uniform

We have had a number of children who have not brought in their PE kit this week. All children have PE on a Tuesday and a Friday and we would appreciate you sending them with the correct kit so that they can participate.  Please see a member of staff if you have any questions.  Thank you.

Please remember that children are asked to wear plain black shoes or trainers as part of their school uniform.  Children are allowed to change into trainers when playing outside but they do need to wear the correct uniform when inside.  Thank you for your support.

Kingswood Visit

Mr Cullen has been busy organising next year's residential visit to Kingswood.  The children who have been invited to attend should have received a letter.  Please look at our diary dates for the date of the meeting which will provide you with more information.

Thank you

Competition winners

Congratulations to the three winners of our Remembrance handwriting competition.  Mrs Winfield was very impressed with the overall standard!  These children won a gift voucher each and their poems will be displayed in Class 1's classroom.  Well done!

A Bag full of Stars

Buddy Training

The children in Class 3 are learning how to be buddies.  In the first session, they talked about what role a buddy would play and started to think about how we can have buddies at our school.  Watch this space for more information.
